On April 17, 2018 an opening of the exhibition of students’ art works “Architecture: algebra and harmony” took place in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. The exhibition was presented to International Day for Monuments and Sites (April 18) within the museum youth art project “New generation”.
It’s a common event of Fine Art and Design Department of Art Faculty of Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after V.Vynnychenko and the Department of Architecture of Kirovohrad College of Construction.
    Works of students of Art and Graphics Department of Art Faculty of Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after V.Vynnychenko on architectural theme are shown at the exhibition – final qualifying projects made in different fine art techniques: drawings, watercolor, painting, vytynanka, batik, pottery, quilling, and also art works of students of the College of Construction majoring in architectural design and interior – graduate and term projects of the recent years, projects proposals of the memorial sign in Heroiv Maidanu Square in Kropyvnytskyi and architectural graphics works.
    Visitors to the museum could see not only the exhibition, which had more than 70 creative students’ works but also vivid video presentations of the educational establishments specializing in art that were help by the curators of the exhibition - Ph.D. in History of Arts, associate professor of Art Faculty of the university Olena Kyrychenko and member of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, teacher in the College of Construction Tetiana Peniaz. And the museum prepared a wonderful booklet of the exhibition where the students’ works and information concerning their creation are included.
    Participants of the exhibition and its organizers were greeted by the dean of Art Faculty of the university, Ed.D. in Pedagogy, professor Tetiana Stratan-Artishkova, deputy director of the College of Construction Inna Chernyshova and head of the subdepartment of Fine Art and Design of Art and Graphic Department of Art Faculty of the university Ph.D. in Pedagogy Tetiana Stritievych and head of the subdepartment of Architecture of the college Oleksandra Kovtun. Special congratulatory words were said by the head of the regional organization of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine Ludmyla Kharlamova and director of the regional department of Architectural board of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine Yurii Peniaz who noted high artistic level of the students’ creative works and importance of organization of such joint art event of the educational establishments. And head of the Sector of Cultural Heritage Conservation of the Department of City Planning and Architecture of Town Council of Kropyvnytsky Nadiia Lisniak invited students to join the project “Public budget” by proposing interesting architectural and art projects concerning space planning of the historic city center.
