On October 11, 2018 a delegation from the city of Shàoxīng, the People's Republic of China, headed by deputy Minister of Municipal Committee visited O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. It came with a friendly visit in in order to discover the cultural potential of Kropyvnytskyi town and establish twin-city relations.
    After looking at the museum exposition, the foreign guests listened to an improvised concert of the pupils of the town music schools No. 1 named after H.H.Neuhaus and No. 2 named after Yu.S.Meitus.
    The representatives of the eastern culture were impressed by the performance of the bandura band of the music school No. 2 named after Yu.S.Meitus. After the music evening all the members of the delegation took photographs with this traditional Ukrainian musical instrument. In appreciation of the beautiful performance of classical compositions by the pupils of the music schools No. 1 named after H.H.Neuhaus the head of the delegation presented a Chinese souvenir to Yevheniia Maliavkina, the school director.
    The museum staff presented interesting museum booklets and postcards with buildings constructed by Yakib Pauchenko’s projects to the Chinese guests.
