On September 21, 2019, the 265th anniversary of the town foundation was celebrated under “The town of my dream!” in Kropyvnytskyi. Festive events to Town Day and the ceremony of awarding of the best workers in all the spheres of the social and economic life of the community took place at the square outside the City Council building.
    O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum staff was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the City Council and the Executive Committee of the town of Kropyvnytskyi for a significant contribution to the development of museum studies in the town of Kropyvnytskyi, active cultural and educational work, high professionalism to the 265th anniversary of the town foundation. The Certificate was handed to Vita Chernova, the museum director, by Mayor Andrii Raikovych and the secretary of the City Council Andrii Tabalov.
    By the application of the museum staff and the Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine famous painters – Merited Artist of Ukraine Serhii Shapovalov and his brother a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Anatolii Shapovalov received Honors of the City Council and the Executive Committee of the town of Kropyvnytskyi “For Merit” of the 2nd degree.
    On the application of the museum staff, the head of the Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Andrii Khvorost was awarded Certificate of Merit of the City Council and the Executive Committee of the town of Kropyvnytskyi.
