On April 16, 2021, the staff of
O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum met Merited Artist of Ukraine Feliks
Polonskyi in the Museum of Arts where his personal exhibition “Art
Dimension of Feliks Polonskyi” to the 80th anniversary of the artist
which he celebrated on January 1.
At the beginning of the event the deputy director of the
municipal institution “The Museum of Arts of Kirovohrad Regional Council”
Hanna Osypova and the curator of the exhibition, the head of the
Department of Tourism, Local History, and Information Work Oleh
Yurchenko mentioned that the presentation of the jubilee exhibition was
held on April 1 with a limited number of visitors according to the
requirements of the orange level of epidemical risks due to the
preventing the spread of COVID-l9 cases on the territory of Ukraine. But
the initiative of O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum to congratulate the
famous Kropyvnytskyi artist on his jubilee was supported by the Museum
of Arts director Tetiana Tkachenko. She also helped to organize the
creative meeting.
The leading researcher, merited Artist of Ukraine Andrii
Nadezhdin during his speech handed the anniversary celebrant a letter of
congratulations from the museum staff, posters of the displayed
exhibitions from the museum collection “Modern Ukrainian Fine Art” –
online personal exhibition of works of Merited Artist Feliks Polonskyi
“Creative work is a sense of life” to the 80th anniversary of the
website of the museum in the section “Some exhibitions” on January 1,
2021, and the themed exhibition “A painting of Merited Artists of
Ukraine Feliks Polonskyi “A red heavy cloud came…” to the 150th
anniversary of Lesia Ukrainka on February 12, 2021, as well as the
newspapers “Vechirnia Hazeta” with the author’s articles on the
expositions. The museum attendant Iryna Tokmanenko presented the artist
with a bright bouquet of chrysanthemums for the future still lifes with
a sincere wish of health and creative success.
Feliks Mykhailovych Polonskyi thank for the congratulations
and signed the presented posters of the exhibition for the museum
collection and our colleagues from the Museum of Arts. The artist and
the museum staff communicated in a friendly atmosphere among the
paintings of the talented artist. |
