On October 6, 2022, on the eve of the
Artist's Day (October 9), a creative meeting was held in the
O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum with the Kropyvnytskyi artist Olha
Krasnopolska - the head of the fine arts department of the Kropyvnytskyi
Children's Art School and the curator of the art project "Art Studios -
2022" on the topic: "Portraits of contemporaries on the background of
war".
The cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal
Affairs, which moved from Mariupol to Kropyvnytskyi, who visited the
museum led by their teachers, learned about the history of the museum's
art project and watched a presentation - a kind of photochronicle of the
studios and video stories that were broadcast on the all-Ukrainian
information telethon "Yedyni Novyny" . Getting acquainted with the
exposition of the "INVINCIBLE" art exhibition opened for the
Independence Day of Ukraine, which is the first within the art project,
the student youth listened with interest to the story of the artist Olha
Krasnopolska about the creative work of artists during February - August
2022, the result of which is more than 250 portraits made by in various
graphic techniques that reproduce the general portrait of modern
Ukrainians who are waging a heroic struggle for the territorial
integrity of our state.
Particular attention was drawn to portrait images of university
representatives - teachers of police majors Halyna Izotova and Viktor
Kovalenko and cadets Neonila Derbal and Kateryna Voronik, who in July of
this year also became participants in the art project "Art Studios -
2022" on the theme: "Portraits of contemporaries against the background
of war ” and posed for artists as nature.
University cadets, including Neonila Derbal, wrote about
their impressions of the museum visit in the museum book of reviews: "From
