On September 27, 2012 publishing house “Hyperion” with the assistance of State Agency of Ukraine in tourism and resorts presented All-Ukrainian publishing project “Meet-Ukraine. On Tourist Trails” on the occasion of World Tourism Day. Its goal is to show world community tourist-recreational attractiveness of Ukraine, to incite tourists, including foreign ones, to visit and spend vacations in our country.
   More than 60 historical and cultural objects are presented in an excellently illustrated album, published both in Ukrainian and English, among them - museums, nature reserves, landscape parks, country estates of green tourism. It is a real guide-book of history and culture for everyone who wants to meet unexplored, who can appreciate beauty of nature and greatness of human creation.
   A.A.Osmerkin Museum became a participant of this publishing project, moreover, it is the only representative from Kirovograd. The museum not only received several copies of the book, but also was awarded a medal “For adherence to traditions”. This award shows a high appraisal of the works of the museum in popularization of creative work of a distinguished painter and teacher Alexander Alexandrovich Osmerkin, whose 120th anniversary if going to be celebrated on Decemver 8, 2012.
