Humanitarian aid to the museum


    On November 14, 2022, the O.O.Osmerkin Memorial Art Museum received humanitarian aid from the Kirovohrad Regional Museum of Local Lore, provided by the Ukrainian Center for Art Aid in Germany and the International Non-Governmental Organization World Heritage Watch with the assistance of volunteer Iryna Nikiforova, an authorized representative of these organizations and a member of the Commission on of cultural heritage and cultural values at the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
    "Special packaging materials to ensure the preservation of museum objects, in particular, pictorial groups of storage, as well as a device for controlling the temperature and humidity regime in the museum premises and materials for its stabilization, are extremely necessary for carrying out preventive measures for the storage of the stock collection against military threats caused by military aggression of Russia against Ukraine," said Pavlo Rybalko, Deputy Director for Accounting and Preservation of Museum Values of the Kirovohrad Regional Museum of Local History.
