On December 6, 2022, on the eve of the
birthday of the artist and teacher Oleksandr Osmerkin (December 8), a
thematic tour of the art exhibition "ARTshelter for artists" was held in
the O.O.Osmerkin Memorial Art Museum.
Its participants were students of the 7th grade of the
alternative school "Krok", who came to the museum with their teacher of
Ukrainian language and literature, candidate of philological sciences,
Nadiia Harmazii, who is a laureate of the Yevhen Malaniuk regional
literary prize in the category "Poetry" and currently heads the
Kirovohrad region organization of the National Union of Writers of
Ukraine.
The director of the museum, Vita Chernova, not only presented
the second exhibition within the framework of the museum art project "Art
Studies-2022" on the topic: "Portraits of contemporaries on the
background of war", the exhibition of which is dedicated to the memory
of painting professor Oleksandr Osmerkin on the occasion of his 130th
anniversary the birth of the honored artist of Ukraine Andrii Nadiezhdin,
who suddenly passed away on October 19 this year, and Ukrainian soldiers
who give their lives defending the freedom, independence and territorial
integrity of our country, and also focused on the installation of
memorial items from the Pauchenko-Osmerkin house – a decorated table, a
carved door, a forged lantern and an easel from Oleksandr Osmerkin’s
workshop, on which there is a photo tablet with the image of the artist
exhibited in the central hall, because the museum itself is now in the
shelter, because the exposition was dismantled in order to preserve
paintings and other rare objects , as well as on the symbols of today -
the Flag of Ukraine, the "Borodyan rooster", a shell casing, a military
cap and a woman's handkerchief in anticipation of meeting the winner.
One of the participants of the exhibition - the artist and
musician Oleksandr Kyrianov, who works as a teacher at the Oleksandr
Osmerkin Art School - also visited the event. He presented his drawings
made using digital art techniques in the exposition of the exhibition
and interestingly talked about the work on the animation of the author's
images of another exponent of the exhibition, the artist Olha
Krasnopolska, by the way, a teacher of fine arts at the "Krok" school,
and the preparation of the appropriate musical accompaniment for the
video series , which was displayed on the laptop.
Getting acquainted with the exhibition, the children
themselves became participants in the performance, as they contemplated
the exhibited works of art by the light of flashlights, because at that
moment there was another power outage.
And at the end of the art event, everyone was happy to visit
the other halls of the museum, where the art exhibition "INVINCIBLE" for
the Independence Day of Ukraine is exhibited, which is the first
exhibition within the art project "Art Studios - 2022" on the topic: "Portraits
of contemporaries against the background of war", viewed numerous
graphic works representing a general portrait of modern Ukrainians,
listened to Oleksandr Kyrianov play music on an old grand piano, and
left their impressions in the museum book of reviews.
"I really liked it, the emotions are incredible, I can't even
describe it. All pictures inspire to do something creative" and "Thank
you so much for showing creativity!" - students Vasilisa Tomaz and Sofia
Maidaniuk wrote. And their mentor, the talented writer Nadiia Harmazii,
added: "ART gives strength and faith in Victory. Thank you for this
excursion, for the fact that the museum named after O.Osmerkin holds the
artistic front and makes it possible to find spiritual shelter. With
pleasure, we visited the exhibition "ARTshelter for artists" with the
students of the "Krok" school.
In memory of the visit to the museum, all students received a
souvenir calendar for the next year 2023 from a reproduction of one of
Oleksandr Osmerkin's paintings, which was exhibited in the memorial hall
in peacetime and which art fans will definitely see in the updated
exposition after our Victory. |
