Opening of the exhibition of works by the pupils of Kirovograd children’s art school named after A.A.Osmerkin took place on December 5, 2013 in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. This event was dedicated to the 121th anniversary of the painter and was held within the framework of the Year of Children’s Creativity.
   The head of the Department of culture and tourism of the town council A.Nazarets, the director of the school A.Ivanova, teacher of the school, member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine, laureate of the Regional Alexander Osmerkin Award in fine arts and study of art in the nomination “modern tendencies” I.Smychek, senior research officer of the museum, Honoured artist of Ukraine A.Nadezhdin and the director of the museum V.Chernova congratulated young artists on the opening of the exhibition. The director of the museum presented art albums of P.Konchalovski and K.Korovin to the school library and also handed a letter of appreciation for collaboration in popularization of fine art and aesthetic education of the rising generation.
