On December
10, 2013 traditional awarding of the Regional A.A.Osmerkin Award in fine arts and study of
art took place in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
Laureates of 2013 became – a famous sculpture and medalist from
Svetlovodsk, Kirovograd region, a member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine and
of International federation of medalists Vyacheslav Popov in the nomination “national
tradition”; graphic artist, a member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine,
lecturer of the Art Department of V.Vynnychenko Kirovograd State Pedagogical University
Olga Pungina in the nomination “modern tendencies”; and a lecturer of Musical College,
a journalist Ludmila Frenchko in the nomination “study and history of art”.
Awards were given by the head of Kirovograd regional council, a chairman of
the jury of the Award Nikolay Kovalchuk, who also commended Viktor Osipenko, a nominee for
the Award, an amateur painter from Pomochnaya, Kirovograd region.
Laureates were congratulated by public authorities, art workers and
colleagues. A performance of young musicians – pupils of Kirovograd musical school ¹1
named after H.Neuhaus, was a special gift for everyone. |
