Vernisages of children creativity became traditional for art worshipers
in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. And on December 23, 2014 an exhibition of works by
pupils of Kirovograd children’s art school named after A.A.Osmerkin was opened. The
exhibition had a symbolic name “New Year and Christmas carnival” and was dedicated to
the 55th anniversary of the school opening.
Exposition of the exhibition was made up of nearly thirty works by
pupils – graphic compositions, sculptures, batiks, decorative needlework and dolls from
the series “Christmas carnival”, which incarnate mythological and literary diversity
of traditional themes of New Year holidays.
Young artists were congratulated on the opening of the exhibition by
Head of Culture and Tourism Department of Kirovohrad Town Council A.Nazarets, who gave to
the museum and school sets of photo albums “Kirovohrad region in the mirror of time”
dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Kirovograd region, where all types of art of the
region, including fine art and decorative and applied art, are presented, director of
Kirovograd children’s art school named after A.A.Osmerkin H.Ivanova, director of
Kirovograd children’s music school ¹1 named after H.Neuhaus Ye.Malyavkina and director
of A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial MuseumV.Chernova, who gave Letter of Commendation to the
teacher of the school Tetyana Leondivna Bondar for the presentation of the series of dolls
“Christmas carnival” at the exhibition.
Gem of the event was a performance of pupils of Kirovograd children’s
music school ¹1 named after H.Neuhaus, who greeted all the present singing Christmas
carols.
And at the end of the event young painters, and future musicians and
even adults made fairy snowflakes with enthusiasm, filling them with dreams and wishes
hoping they would come true on New Year’s Eve, because all of them were presented at the
exposition of fairy-tale exhibition. |
