On May 30, 2018 festive events on the occasion of awarding of the
winners of the Art competition “Youth palette” named after Leonid Bondar
to the International Children Day took place in O.O.Osmiorkin
Art-Memorial Museum. The theme of the competition was “World of children
creativity” and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Merited Cultural
Worker of Ukraine L.I.Bondar. Also a presentation of the exhibition of
works by winners and participants of the competition was opened. The
exposition of the exhibition included more than 150 works – numerous
drawings made in watercolors and gouache, crayons, pastel, gel ink pen
and decorative works in different techniques: carpet, stuffed toys,
motanka-dolls, quilling, sculpture compositions from playdough and salt
dough, textile goods.
The competition was held in such genres of fine art:
painting, graphic art, sculpture, decorative and applied art. 284 works
of 246 pupils and students from 18 educational establishments of
Kropyvnytskti were applied for the competition: Children Art School
named after O.O.Osmiorkin, Fine Arts Department of Children School of
Arts, clubs and studios of fine art and decorative and applied art of
regional and Center of Children and Youth Creativity, secondary schools
#2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 14, 17, 18, 19, 32, 35, Art and Graphic Art
Department of Art Faculty of Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical
University named after Volodymyr Vinnychenko, and also pupils of
individual teachers of fine art.
According to the decision of the jury 29 participants, aged
7-22, became winners. Their works were awarded with the diplomas of I,
II, III degrees in three nominations. More than 50 participants of the
competition received Certificates of Acknowledgement and new, introduced
this year, Honors of the jury and organizing committee. so, members of
the jury - head of Culture and Tourism Department of Town Council of
Kropyvnytskyi Anna Nazarets, head chairman of the board of the National
Union of Artists of Ukraine Andrii Khvorost, Art and Graphic Art
Department of Art Faculty of Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical
University named after Volodymyr Vinnychenko Olena Kyrychenko, member of
the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Ludmyla Demydenko and Merited
Artist of Ukraine Andrii Nadezhdin, who is the head of the jury, had
personally selected works in their sole discretion and awarded their
authors with personal presents – interesting art albums and books.
Teachers, whose pupils won the competition, also were given Certificates
of acknowledgement. All the participants whose works were noted by the
jury received recognition gifts from the Department of Culture and
Tourism – paints, brushes, albums, materials for decorative elements and
other items for artists.
The winners and all the participants of the competition were
congratulated by head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Town
Council of Kropyvnytskyi Anna Nazarets, head of the jury of the
competition, leading researcher of the museum, Merited Artist of Ukraine
Andrii Nadezhdin and director of Children Art School named after
O.O.Osmiorkin Hanna Tymofiienko.
The organizers of the competition also received
acknowledgements at the event. The teacher of Children Art School named
after O.O.Osmiorkin Tetiana Bondar mentioned that the competition is a
decent honor of her father – a talented artist and a prominent pedagogue
who devoted all his life to children developing their creative skills
and promoting love to fine art. And a famous painter, member of the
National Union of Artists of Ukraine Yurii Vintenko, who has been the
head of the Department of Fine Art of Children School of Arts, expressed
sincere thanks to the Department of Culture and Tourism for the support
of the creative initiative of the museum. He and a well-known poet and
collector, a member of the National Union of Poets of Ukraine Volodymyr
Mohyliuk gave to the museum funds rare post cards published in the
1960-s. The post cards depicted posters, whose author is O.O.Osmiorkin’s
student – a famous graphic artist Nina Vatolina. By the way, one of the
posters was dedicated to International Children Day.
The event ended with a traditional photoshoot of the winners
and participants of the competition together with their teachers near
the museum building. |
