The exhibition “The streets of the native town” presents paintings and graphic works of Natalia Kukharenko, an undergraduate of the Department of Painting and Graphics of Art Faculty of Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko.
   Natalia Kukharenko was born in Kirovohrad (Kropyvnytskyi). In 2011 finished Kirovohrad Children’s Art School named after O.O.Osmerkin.
Now she studies at the Department of Painting and Graphics of Art Faculty of Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko.
   An active participant of different student art exhibitions which are organized in the university, museums and libraries. The exhibition “The streets of the native town” is a first personal exhibition of Natalia Kukharenko. It was encouraged by the work on the graduation project “Set of post cards “Architectural details of the historic part of the town Elisavethrad – Kirovohrad” (scientific adviser – PhD in History of Art, associate professor Kyrychenko O.I). The graduation project showed the historic architecture of the town, now Kropyvnytskyi, through decorative details of different styles.
   The exposition of the exhibition consisted of more than 20 works created in 2016-2017 in the techniques of oil painting, watercolors and pencil drawing.They recreate architectural face of the historic centre of our town, which adornments are unique buildings, constructed by the projects of Elisavethrad architects Ya.Pauchenko, O.L.Lishnevskii and other planners on the cusp of the XIXth and XXth centuries, the majority of which are among listed buildings.
    The exhibition is full of love to the native town and enlightened by bright, joyful thoughts.
