State higher educational establishment I-II levels of accreditation “Kirovohrad College of Construction” – is one of the oldest educational establishments in Kirovohrad region, which was founded as training college on the basis of an art school by resolution of Town Council in 1930 for providing the region development with middle-ranking managers.In 2007 the educational establishment was renamed college.
   Specialists in such specialties are trained in the college: “Construction and maintenance of buildings and facilities”, “Assembling and maintenance of gas supply equipment and systems”, “Assembling and maintenance ofheat engineering equipment and heat supply systems”, “Industrial engineering”, “Architectural design and interior” and “Construction, maintenance and repair of auto-roads and airdromes”.
   Pupils on the base of 9th and 11th grades are accepted to the college. There are intramural and low-residency programs, all specialties have state order. Annually students of the college take part in prestigious professional competitions, taking award-winning places, a lot of graduates continue their studies in Central Ukrainian Technical University, Odesa Academy of Architecture and Construction, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture and other educational establishments.
   Students and instructors of the college actively cooperate with O.О.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. Students , who major in “architectural design and interior” constantly take part in different art events of the museum – theme art exhibitions and competitions of patriotic poster “For the independence of Ukraine!” to the Independence Day of Ukraine (2015) and “Youth palette” named after Leonid Bondar to international Children Day (2016, 2017), educational project “Art lectures to the anniversary of O.O.Osmerkin” (2014-2016). And in 2012 an exhibition of the students of the college was presented in the museum, exposition of the exhibition had more than 50 works in drawing, painting, composition.
   At the current exhibition, dedicated to Day of Architecture of Ukraine, which is celebrated on July 1, graduation architectural projects of the college graduates of 2017 in specialty “architectural design and interior” are being shown. Authors of the graduation projects are – Lubov Fedotova, Mykola Holinskii, Iryna Ivanova, Olha Leonova, Anastasiia Chernova, Rostyslav Rudenok. Also the term projects-miniatures of Hanna Burlaka and Viktoriia Leshchenko, created under the supervision of experienced teachers, members of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine O.O.Postolatii, L.V.Kharlamova and T.O.Peniaz, who professionally share their knowledge of architecture design, planning and city development, architectural details and interior furnishing, history of architecture.
   Presented architectural projects of the buildings in Kropyvnytskyi – “Drama theatre”, “Center of children art”, “Expo center”, “Hotel and restaurant complex”, apartment blocks and detached houses impress not only by a superb versions, but by creativity in the realization of ideas of creation of original architectural environment of the steppe town with a special history of the development and work of architects of different eras.
