Modern Kropyvnytskyi town is one of the central Ukraine towns
that preserved its unique architectural complex of the historical center
that embraces the period of more than 200 years of intensive stylistic
searches and the major historical legacy that creates the background for
tourism development. The town where architectural memorials became museums
turning into treasuries of cultural and art heritage. Prominent writers and
poets, musicians and composers, artists and theatrical personalities,
philosophers and scientists made our town famous with their deeds,
contributing to the world culture. Places where they lived, developed as
personalities, became cultural centers with unique aura of their idea. The
memorials to them are like hands of the clock of history, mark landmarks of
our steppe town. |
