The exhibition “Facets of Creative Work” presentsart works by students of the Subdepartment of Visual Arts and Design of Art Department of Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko within museum art project for youth “New Generation”.
    The exposition and exhibition art project “New Generation” was initiated by O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. It is aimed at discovering talented personalities among student art youth in modern Ukrainian visual art. The art project presupposes the organization of personal and group exhibitions, publishing of theme booklets with articles on the history of art, and reproductions of creative works
    The exposition included more than forty art works of students of second, third, and fourth years. The works were created in different years under the supervision of lecturers: Ph.D. in Pedagogy, senior lecturer Yuliia Malezhyk, lecturer Liubov Husieva, and Ph.D. in Art History, assistant professor Olena Kyrychenko. The following art techniques were used: painting, graphic works, three-dimensional and textured quilling.
    “The title of the exhibition “Facets of Creative Work” hasn’t been chosen randomly because the students’ works are presented in different types, genres, techniques of visual art both traditional and searching ones. This fact allows to unfold and present new facets of the already known things. Themes of the students’ creative works are diverse as well as the methods of its expression, but urge in search of new, in self-expression and self-realization using visual arts is what unites all the works” – this how the works of the students were characterized by Yuliia Malezhyk, curator of the exhibition, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, senior lecturer, member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine.
    Liubov Husieva, the exhibition curator mentioned: “Students of the subdepartment of Visual Arts and Design were engaged to participate. They have the desire and need to discover their talent and share it with a wider audience. The students’ works vernissage impresses with ambitiousness and fascinates with its sincerity.
