Figurative and non-figurative painting is harmoniously combined in
M.Nadezhdin’s creative work. Emotional and sensual perception is the basis for the
artist to recreate it in a generalized, figured form. It is the way to provide conditions
for versatility and complexity of understanding the work. He is one of the artists whose
creative work contains a philosophical comprehension of modern social conflicts. The
special place in the artist’s work is taken by the landscape and still life.
Asmentioned by Doctor of Arts, a current member of the Academy of Art
of Ukraine, professor O.Fedoruk: “Mykhaylo Nadezhdin is a unique Ukrainianartist, People’s
Artist of Ukraine, who secreative practice influenced the development of modern figurative
culture. From an active formation of the 60s through the lyricism of the 70s – 80s the
master found the harmony of unification of the global perspective and transiency of
everyday life, while keeping the spirit of folk worldview, and created great images of
philosophical aspect”. |
