A personal exhibition of graphic works by the member of the National
Union of Architects of Ukraine Iryna Kukharenko “Graphic Art of the Architect Iryna
Kukharenko” dedicated to Architecture Day in Ukraine (July 1).
Kukharenko Iryna Oleksandrivna was born on December
27, 1967 in Kazan (Tatarstan, Russian Federation). Graduated from Kazan Institute of
Engineering and Construction, now State University of Architecture and Construction, the
Department of Architecture (1990).
Worked as an architect in the Department of City Planning,
Architecture, Land Planning, and Land Use in Kirovohrad Executive Committee of the City
Soviet of People's Deputies, the deputy head of the Department of Regional Development,
City Planning and Architecture in Kirovohrad Regional State Administration – the head of
the Department – the Chief Architect of the Oblast.
A member of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine (2017). A
participant of all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions – the Second
all-Ukrainian and international biennale exhibition “Sea of Watercolors” (Odesa,
2018), 10th all-Ukrainian and 1st international exhibition “Graphic Art in Kharkiv”
(Kharkiv, 2019), Jubilee all-Ukrainian Art exhibition dedicated to the 175th anniversary
of I.Yu.Riepin (Kharkiv, 2019), Exhibition of graphic works by modern Ukrainian artists
within all-Ukrainian Art and Cultural Project “Picturesque Ukraine” (Kropyvnytskyi,
2019), and also regional fundraising auction-exhibitions.
Personal exhibitions of graphic works were exhibited in O.O.Osmerkin
Art-Memorial Museum – “Vernissage” (2012) and “World in Watercolors” (2017). The
current exhibition presents more than 30 author’s works from the series: “Picturesque
corners of Ukraine”, “History of wooden architecture”, “Monuments of Architecture
in the Town of Kropyvnytskyi”, created between 2009 and 2020 in different graphic
techniques, and also architectural and landscape sketches from the album. Iryna Kukharenko’s
architectural sketches are characterized by the tenderness, lightness, and intension of
the light; the depicted buildings created by the architects of the past centuries impress
with graphic accuracy and admiration by the decor details. |
