The works are stored in the Art Museum and the O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum in Kropyvnytskyi, in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
The exhibition presents 23 graphic and pictorial works by Iryna Kukharenko: landscapes from the series "Picturesque Corners of Ukraine", "History of Wooden Architecture" and "Architectural Monuments of the City of Kropyvnytskyi", as well as portraits and still lives made in 2009-2021 . Iryna Kukharenko's watercolors are distinguished by their fragility, lightness, and saturation of light. The simplicity of the motives of her still lives hides the lyricism and poetry of the subject images, and the wide geography of the artist's travels is reflected in the aerial perspective and transparency of the landscape sketches and architectural sketches, the graphic accuracy and admiration for the details of the decorations created by the architects of past centuries are impressive. The portraits of native people are made with particular sincerity, in which the characteristic features of each are realistically conveyed. Iryna Kukharenko's works focus the viewer's attention on the value and uniqueness of every minute of life, obtaining aesthetic pleasure from the contemplation of the surrounding nature and architectural landscapes.
Yulia Mykolayivna Malezhik was born in Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). The works are stored in the Museum of Art in Kropyvnytskyi, in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
The exhibition presents 23 author's graphic, painting and decorative works of Yulia Malezhik, made in 1995-2020. In her compositions, an amazing flight of fantasy is impressive, subordinated to philosophical reflections on the place of man in the universe, his role in the processes of life creation and problems of communication with the natural environment. A subtle sense of style, the special charm of the artistic dimension of linear space, the culture of using the language of line, stroke and plane in the rhythms of restrained use of color fascinate with the plasticity of forms, awaken the desire for creativity, and encourage the awareness of the irresistible power of fine art.
