Virtual exhibition of works by graduates of the Art School named after O.O.Osmerkin in the city of Kropyvnytskyi "We are the future of Ukraine!" is presented as part of the museum art project "Gallery of Children's Art", the purpose of which is the presentation of exhibitions of children's creativity, popularization of the best works of young artists, involvement of children in fine arts and creation of the "Children's Creativity" collection.
    The art school was established in 1959, named after painting professor Oleksandr Osmerkin in 1992 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the artist and teacher. Among the graduates of the school are famous artists - members of the National Unions of Artists, Architects and Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, laureates of regional awards in the field of fine arts and art history named after Oleksandr Osmerkin and in the field of architecture, heraldry and vexillology, and decorative and applied arts named after Yakiv Pauchenko.
    Experienced teachers, preserving the foundations of an academic school and introducing the latest forms of education, professionally impart their knowledge of painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative arts and the history of world art to children. The students of the school are active participants and graduates of city, regional, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions-competitions, winners of the Art Competition "Young palette" named after the honored cultural worker of Ukraine Leonid Bondar, who worked as the director of an art school for more than twenty years.
    Exposition of the virtual exhibition "We are the future of Ukraine!" consists of 77 creative works of painting, graphics and sculpture by graduates of the 2022-2023 academic year, made in various artistic techniques - gouache, watercolor, pencil, pastel, marker, fabric appliqué, plasticine sculpture - under the guidance of school teachers: Olena Pryimachenko, Oleksandra Kuznetsova, Yulia Zakharyina, Volodymyr Plitin, Roman Tkachenko, Oleksiy Lozynskyi. The exhibition is complemented by photos during the ceremony of awarding certificates to school graduates.
    The curator of the exhibition, art school teacher Roman Tkachenko, characterizes the exhibition of young artists as follows: "The exhibition of creative works of graduates of the art school is the result of educational tasks in such subjects as: drawing, composition, decorative arts and sculpture. Students of the 4th grade, aged from 15 to 17 years, worked creatively on portraits, in particular, the image of a modern Ukrainian woman during the war, architectural landscapes of the native city of Kropyvnytskyi, thematic and multi-textured still lifes, compositions on a free theme, decorative painting, three-dimensional figures and relief, and even the design of a banknote. According to tradition, the school annually organizes an exhibition of the works of school graduates, but this year the idea arose to celebrate the creative achievements of children in particular, namely by presenting their works on the website of the O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum, whose name the school bears. And thus involve young artists in professional exhibition activities on the museum platform, such as, for example, annual exhibitions of diploma works of graduates of the Department of Art Education, Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Arts of the Central Ukrainian State University named after V. Vynnychenko in the art museum. And it is possible to start a new tradition - not only to present exhibitions of school students for the birthday of painting professor Oleksandr Osmerkin, but also to organize openings of school graduates, among whom many will decide to continue their studies to become real artists, because all of them are the future of Ukraine."
