An exhibition “Cheerful colours“ from the museum collection “Children’s creative work” was opened in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum to International Children's Day. The exhibition was presented within the framework of announced in the 2013 Year of children’s creativity in Ukraine.
   Such children vernisages are traditional. For many years “A gallery of children creative work” has been working in the museum. Its aim is to present exhibitions of children works of art, popularization of the best works of young artists, attraction of children to studying of fine art. More than 30 exhibitions of children works – group, personal, theme, exhibitions-competitions - have been shown during the existence of the museum since 1994.These vernisages are the result of cooperation of the museum and children art schools, studios of fine art. A collection “Children’s creative works” was created in the museum, and it is constantly replenishing with new arrivals.
   Creative works of the pupils of the studio of visual art “Sunflower” of Kirovograd regional centerfor children and youth creativity are presented at the current exhibition. In 1998-2000 the pupils had their personal exhibitions in the museum. Drawings by Darya Serezhkina, Yliya Gumirova and Maria Vydauko, creative compositions by Vitaliy Dimitrov and vytunankas by Elena Get’man are full of irrepressible child imagination and sincere wish to cognition of the universe.
