A personal exhibition of Alexander Shuleshko “Town. Space of light” was opened in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum to the Town’s Day, which is usually celebrated in the end of September.
   Alexander Shuleshko was born in 1962 in Kirovograd. In 1989 graduated from Kiev technological college, majoring in “phototechnique”
He worked as a photojournalist in Kirovograd regional newspapers “Narodnoe slovo” and “Vestnik regiona”. Alexander Shuleshko is a member of the National Union of journalists of Ukraine.
   A participant of many regional, all-Ukrainian photo exhibitions and photo competitions. In 2013 the photographer has taken 1st place on all-Ukrainian photo competition “Ukraine: a moment of our life”.
   More than 30 colour photographs of the town, which were made in the recent years, are shown at the exhibition. Alexander Shuleshko perceives Kirovograd-Elisavetgrad in his own, specific way - the town’s paved streets, straight blocks and unique art nouveau architecture. There a lot of buildings built on the projects by famous Elisabethgrad architect Yakov Pauchenko among the photographs.
   A professional photographer Alexander Shuleshko combines history and modernity in his works, presenting the image of our town full of colour, in the sunlight and bright neon lights, sometimes in unexpected angles that make us look at the familiar with amazed eyes.
