Popov Vyacheslav Vasyliovych (24.08.1937 - 31.10.2023), Svetlovodsk, Kirovograd Region – Honoured painter of Ukraine (2022), a member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine (1990), a member of International federation of medalists (FIDEM, Paris, France), a sculptor-medalist, graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State Art College, now from E.Vuchetich (1957), in 1973 took the third place in all-USSR competition of commemorative medal of the Union of artists of the USSR, a participant of XXVI and XXVII congresses of International federation of medalists (the Hague, the Netherlands, 1998 and Weimar, Germany, 2000) – for the creative achievements of recent years.
