On August 23, 2016 an opening of the exhibition of vytynanka “My Ukraine – “From San to Don”, dedicated to the 25 the anniversary of Independence of Ukraine , took place in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
   The exposition of the exhibition consisted of more than 40 vytynanka of students of Art and Graphic Department of the Art Faculty of State Pedagogical University named after V.Vynnychenko created under the guidance of Larysy Harbuzenko - senior lecturer of the Department of Fine Art and Design, member of the National Union of Artists of Folk Art of Ukraine, laureate of Regional Award in the sphere of architecture, heraldry and veksilology and decorative and applied art named after Yakiv Pauchenko in nomination “decorative and applied art” in 2016. There are works of the winners of organized by the museum in 2016 competition of patriotic poster “For Independence of Ukraine!” among the students to Independence Day of Ukraine.
   Student swere congratulated on the exhibition opening by their teachers – Candidate of Art O.Kyrychenko and head of the Department of Fine Art and Design, Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences T. Stritievych, and also Kirovohrad artists – Merited Artist of Ukraine A.Nadezhdin and Executive Secretary of Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Yu.Vintenko.
   Words of gratitude to their teachers and the museum staff were sincerely toldby the students IrinaMeleshko and Bohdan Gerashchenko. All the participants of the exhibition received the booklet “Exhibition of vytynanka “My Ukraine – “From San to Don” published by the museum.
