Figurative and non-figurative painting is harmoniously combined in M.Nadezhdin’s creative work. Relying on emotional and sensory perception in his compositions, he reflects it in a generalized, image-bearing form creating conditions for multidimensional and versatile understanding of a work. Often the painter reconsiders his main compositional themes, giving a note of new sounding to them. From a vivid rebelliousness of the 1960s through lyrical, national and poetical motifs of the 1970s - 1980s in 1990s - 2000s the painter comes to necessity of global and philosophical review of classical themes.
More than 30 paintings and graphic works, painted during the memorable years rich in special vital and creative events, are shown at the current exhibition.
