A theme exhibition “Revolution of Dignity. Chronicles of events”
dedicated to the tragic events at Maydan in February, 2014 was opened in A.A.Osmerkin
Art-Memorial Museum.
The exhibition presented thirty colour photographs by famous Kirovograd
photographers – members of the National Unions of journalists and photoartists of
Ukraine Ihor Demchuk, Olexander Shuleshko, Olexander Kolominov, Oleh Shramko, Yuriy
Lebedev, who witnessed the events and recorded them leaving visible imprints of tragedy
and victory of native history for the future generations. Not indifferent to the future of
their country they reveal bright images of people, who are full of hopes for the future
and firmness to defend their choice.
Exhibited photographs are accompanied with slogans and catchwords which are
an integral part of an image of Mayadan 2014. As in the times of “Orange Revolution”,
“Revolution of Dignity” had become a manifestation of spontaneous creativity of
Ukrainian people who consolidate the right of life of integral Ukrainian political nation
by their deeds.
Also one can see size photo installations at the exhibition which are
attractive accents that help a viewer to ingenuously feel a tense atmosphere of the last
year events. |
