On July 1, 2021, an exhibition
“Architects and Architectural Studios in the Kirovohrad Oblast” to
Architect Day of Ukraine was opened in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
The exhibition is presented on the museum website in the section Some
Exhibitions. It is the creative project of the museum and Kirovohrad
Regional Organization of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine,
organized to Architecture Day of Ukraine that was initiated to support
the initiatives of architects and city planners, their creative unions,
workers of design organizations, and local city planning and
architecture agencies according to the Decree of President of Ukraine
from June 17, 1995 No. 456/95 “On Architecture Day of Ukraine” and is
celebrated annually on June 1.
The exposition of the exhibition consists of the works
created between the 1990s and 2010th by the leading architects in
Kropyvnytskyi – members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine
among whom are the laureates of the Regional Award in Architecture,
Heraldry, Vexillology, Decorative and Applied Arts named after Yakiv
Pauchenko in the nomination “architecture”. These are the architectural
projects of Merited Architect of Ukraine Yurii Peniaz, Iryna Drofa,
Hanna Kovtun, Tetiana Peniaz, Alla Pyrohova (LLC “Modern”), Volodymyr
Rak, Tetiana Rak, Roman Rak, and Rodion Rak (LLC “ABRIS” Lybideia”),
interior projects of Nataliia Strazhnikova, as well as architectural
drawings and landscapes with the monuments of architecture by Iryna
Kukharenko who has presented personal exhibitions of the author’s works
“Vernissage”
(2012), “World of
Watercolors” (2017), and
“Graphic Works by Iryna
Kukharenko” to Architecture Day of Ukraine (2020) in the museum.
Architects from Kropyvnytskyi visited the event – the
participants of the exhibition and the head of the Regional Organization
of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, Merited Architect of
Ukraine Yurii Peniaz, who read the letter from the National Union of
Architects of Ukraine congratulating on Architecture Day of Ukraine and
handed the Certificate of Appreciation and Letter of Acknowledgement to
the museum director Vita Chernova and the leading researcher Andrii
Nadezhdin for the active cooperation with the Regional Center of
Architects.
The curator of the exhibition, leading researcher of the
museum, Merited Artist of Ukraine Andrii Nadezhdin demonstrated the
exposition of the virtual exhibition online, handed the Letter of
Congratulations from the museum, and presented a themed booklet of the
exhibition to each participant. The architects signed one of the
booklets as well as the poster of the exhibition for the museum.
At the end of the event, the architects enjoyed taking photos
near the portrait of a talented Yelisavethrad architect Yakiv Pauchenko
in the memorial hall, as well as outside his great house, which is
currently a museum to his nephew, Professor of Painting Oleksandr
Osmerkin.
