May 18, 2020, International Museum Day is celebrated. It is aimed at increasing
awareness of the fact that museums are an important means of cultural exchange,
development of mutual understanding, cooperation, and peace between the people.
Usually, the museum welcomes its visitors on this day. Unfortunately,
this year the museum will work online due to the lockdown and prohibition to hold art
public events and accept visitors. The theme of International Museum Day in 2020 is “Museums
and equality: diversity and inclusion”.
O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum congratulates fellow museum workers on International
